Youth Film Projects. Open to ages 14-20. Saturday mornings 10-11:30 AM EST. Apply by filling out the form below.

  • What you are studying? What are you passionate about? What are your hobbies or interests, your ambitions and dreams for the future..?
  • Writing:

    Submit a text describing your idea for a short film (150 words max) that responds to the theme “The water where I live”. Your film will be under 10 minutes when completed. You can use any of the prompts below to help you, or write your own idea. Feel free to expand or change the prompts in any way. Go to Create and Explore or watch last season’s films for inspiration! Your project can be collaborative or independent and you can work in any genre: documentary, fiction, experimental, animation or a combination!

  • Send us an example of material that will be in your film or used to inspire your film. Images, text, audio or video are welcome. (For example, a few photographs, 1-3 minutes of unedited video footage, a poem, a short story, a sound recording, a bit of music, or an interview.) If video, please upload to YouTube or Vimeo and send us a link using the field below.
